Brody's 15-Month Check-up

Brody had his 15-month check-up today. He weighs 23lbs 11oz, head circumference is 18 3/4in, length is 31 3/4in. He looks great on all of the charts. Brody had to get 3 shots today which he did not like. Brody was running all over the room until Dr. Farmer came in. Then he ran and hid under the counter! It was hilarious!!!! Dr. Farmer got tickled, then told him he wasn't safe under there. So funny. I had to drag him out and he wasn't happy about that. Anyway, we have a happy, healthy 15-month old per Dr. Farmer :)

Brody is 15-Months!

My sweet red-haired, blue-eyed boy is 15-months old today!! I cannot believe it! It seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. Brody is one of the sweetest little boys ever. He is so loving and sooo funny!! This child is definitely an original. And he is definitely a leader. Brody has been walking since 10-months and now he is running!!! He still loves to eat but seems to be more picky. He doesn't sleep through the night anymore. Not sure why that changed. Brody LOVES to brush his teeth. He is a daddy's boy and loves his big brother. He also loves to dance!! Turn on any kind of music and watch him go. He even dances at church with acapella music! He is in size 3 diapers and 18 month clothes. He "talks" all the time!!

Brody Carson has been a blessing to our family and we are so happy that we got the privilege to be his parents. I will do everything possible to make sure he is a happy, healthy, and God-fearing young man. I love you Brody Carson!!!!

All About Bentley

Today was all about Bentley. Since Brody joined our family Bentley hasn't gotten as much attention as he used to. So we planned a day of fun. The first part of the day was just Bentley and I. We ate at Chick-Fil-A, went to the library, went shopping for clothes at the mall, and Hobby Lobby (that one was for me ;) Little did we know we would go swimming as well!! It came a down pour leaving Hobby Lobby. We were soaked!!! But we got a good chuckle out of it and he and I had a great day together.

The night half was dedicated to Russell and Bentley. Russell took Bentley to the Alabama vs Ole Miss basketball game. They had a blast as well. Bentley felt very special and we loved getting one-on-one time with our oldest child.

Who Knew...

Who knew a box could be sooo much fun?! I brought home a big box to put some things in for Goodwill but my boys found it first and are having a blast with it!!! It has been a car, a TV, a hide-out, and many other very creative things. It's awesome to see little minds being challenged and used for creativity. I will just have to find another box later. I refuse to take away their imagination :)

Lunchtime!!!!

Russell, Brody, and I went to eat lunch with Bentley on February 2nd at Westwood. It was pizza day!! Brody was amazed with all of the "big" kids and everyone wanted to talk to him. Bentley was so excited to see Brody. And he was so excited to show him to his friends.

FuN DaY!!!!!!

After such a late night after Fight Night, the boys didn't wake up until 8am, which was AWESOME!!! (This would be January 28th) I never get to sleep in and it was nice! So we got up, ate breakfast, went to visit Russell at the Firestation, went to my Mom and Dad's for a visit, and then just played the rest of the afternoon. It was a very relaxing Saturday with no demands.
