"Date" Night with My Girl
Last night my friend Crystal and I went to see The Hunger Games!! I have read the first book in the series and started the second one last week. They are awesome! It was so good to hang out with Crystal and have adult conversation for a bit. LOL Love that girl!
TLE"s Open House
TLE had their Open House on March 30th. They have been open for a year! And they are doing awesome! So far in 2012, that's just 3 months into the year they have sold 18 mowers!! I snapped a few pics form the Open House yesterday. So proud of all of the guys!
The Blue Angels
The Blue Angels are back in T-Town! Russell had to work overtime on Thursday to prepare for the show. He got to meet the pilots and see the planes. Pretty cool, I'd say!!! We are going to the air show on Saturday! Will post more pics then!!
Bentley's New Guitar
Bentley got a new guitar for his birthday from his Mimi. It is pretty awesome! It is red and sounds awesome!!
The Old Dumptruck
As well as the the old sandbox, we found the old dumptruck. Brody thought it was to ride in so he did :)
Animals!!
Pawpaw bought Brody a new book about animals, which he loves!!! He sat down right away and started reading.
Sitting with Gmomma
Mrs. Juanita, Rusell's grandmother, hasn't been feeling well so Karen had been spending time with her in Fayette. Last Sunday night, Brody and I stayed with her so Karen could go to church. Brody played and worked hard to impress Gmomma. SOOO funny. He was tuckered out ;)
The Old Sandbox
We saved most of Bentley's toys from when he was little like his sandbox, picnic table, etc. We pulled it out last weekend for Brody and I cried thinking of when Bentley first got it. He got it for his 1st birthday!! Wow almost 8 years ago :( Time sure does fly by and the kids grow up way too fast! I am trying to savor every moment and enjoy the here and now. Here are the boys in the old sandbox :)
Cleaning
Last weekend, Russell and I were cleaning off the back patio and pulling out some of Bentley's old outside toys for Brody to play with. Brody decided he wanted to help spray off the porch and house. He actually did a pretty good job.
Storytime
Toys R' Us had storytime one day last week. The girl read a Thomas the Train story and let them play with trains on a mat. Bentley was just there to support Brody ;)
Diaper Change
The other day Brody woke up from nap and Bentley volunteered to change his diaper! I was shocked but said ok. I think Bentley did pretty good! He said," How do you do this?? This kid won't stop moving around!!"
Rainy Afternoon
One day last week the weather was just awful. Rainy and windy...so this is what Brody and I did for the afternoon :)
Our Red-head has Attitude!
Brody was eating his lunch the other day and decided to throw a piece of food on the floor. I picked it up and threw it away and got on to him. He did it again. I popped his hand this time. He yelled," Stop Mom!" and slapped his hand on the highchair. AND gave me this look...
I see lots of disciplining in our near and far future with this one! They say redheads have a fiery temper...I certainly believe it!!!

Waiting and Reading
We were early to Bentley's guitar lessons on a certain Wednesday so we waited in the car for a bit. I turned around to look at the boys and this is what I saw. SOOOO cute!
Swimming Like a Fish
Bentley LOVES the water which is great because I am not a fan! He is a really good swimmer but really hates to put his face in the water too often. Not sure why. But he will jump in and go under all day long. It's just when he is swimming swimming that he doesn't like to put his face in. Weird!
"Cooler" Fun
It was such a hot day so Bentley, Brody, and I pulled out thr cooler since we do not have a kiddie pool yet and filled it up with water and got WET!!! Bentley rode his bike as well. It was a fun day :)
PARK!!
After Brody and I had been holed up in the house for a week with his HFM we decided to go to the park for some fresh air. It was so nice! Russell was at the firestation that day so he came and played with us for a bit :)
