Huntsville Field Trip

On Friday, April 20th, Bentley's class went to Huntsville Space and Rocket Center on a field trip. Brody was sick so I didn't get to go :( Jr. and Karen went with him. From the get go the trip was crazy!! From the bus driver being late, to the bus breaking down, roadblock, to funny smells coming from the bathroom!!! They finally made it about 2 hours late. It was reported from Bentley that he had a great time anyway :)

Bentley's 9th Bday Party-Monster Jam

We had Bentley's birthday party on April 14th. It was a Monster Jam theme. The Grave Digger made a special appearance! It was so cool! Lots of friends and family came to help us celebrate this special time.

Easter

Easter also fell on the Sunday we were at Lads to Leaders. We already had a non-traditional Easter before we left for Tennessee. The Easter bunny came to our house while we were gone!! Bentley and Brody were so excited!! Brody discovered suckers and Bentley spotted the chocolate :)

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bentley is 9!!!!

Nine years ago on April 7th, I met one of the most beautiful little boys I have ever seen. Bentley Gage Latner was born at 8:15am via c-section. I was soo in love with that little guy from day 1. I cried my eyes out when I first saw him and even harder when I got to hold him. I was forever changed from that day forward. Holding that chubby baby in my arms I learned what life was truly all about. He has taught me so much even though some times have been rough I love that sweet boy with all of my heart and I feel honored to have been chosen to be his mom. Bentley is a very active child. So full of energy. I wish I had half of his energy. Happy Birthday sweet boy! My first baby!

Bentley ended up turning 9 while we were in Nashville. The church group sang Happy Birthday to him. Soo sweet! He got to go to the Lego store and choose a gift. He chose The Aquarium for dinner and it was delicious! It felt like we were dining under the sea. He also wanted to go on a boat ride so we did...through the Opryland Hotel. It was a great weekend and a great birthday for my first born son.
