First Day of 4th Grade

Today was Bentley's first day of 4th grade!!! Wow!!! My baby boy is growing sooo fast! We started out morning off with a yummy breakfast of chocolate chip muffins and breakfast burritos. Russell, Brody, and I took Bentley to school this morning. I took lots of pics and Bent was a very good sport about it! I was emotional after I left Bentley but at least I waited until he wasn't around! Bentley got a great teacher this year, Ms. Klink. He said he had an awesome day and was glad to see his friends. But he also said math was going to be very hard this year :( He will be fine though, he is a very smart boy! After school, the boys and I went on our annual first day of school trip to TCBY for ice cream. Bentley got his usual chocolate chocolate with M&M's and chocolate chips. AHHH!!!! Brody and I shared a vanilla kiddie cup. It was delicious! I am so proud of my 4th grader and he is going to rock this school year!! Love you to the moon and back!!!

 

 

 

 

My Birthday!

August 18 was my 32nd birthday! I am getting sooo old!! It was a great day! Russell gave me $100 to get my hair did ;) Bentley gave me a very beautiful picture he found in Chattanooga the weekend before my birthday. It was a beautiful cross in black and white. Love it!! I also got MONEY, MONEY, MONEY from Mom, Dad, and J, and Jr. A beautiful cross necklace from Karen and a pedicure visit from Mandy. Russell, Brody, and I went out on the town that afternoon. Bentley was at the movies with Karen and Randy. I am a blessed girl and I love my family!!!!

Open House

Last Thursday was Open House at Westwood. We took all of Bentley's supplies and paid fees and met his teacher for 4th grade. It was the teacher WE wanted!! Ms. Klink! So excited!! I met her at Field Day last year and she is awesome and fun. She was running around and playing with the kids. I sure hope 4th grade goes great!!

Happy Anniversary Babe

Sunday, August 12, 2012, Russell and I have been married for 12 years! Wow!!! I remember being a nervous but excited 19-year-old walking down the aisle to say 'I do' to my very best friend and the love of my life. We have had some trials and heartaches but also countless moments of joy and happiness. We have been blessed with 2 precious boys who make our world very colorful!! Happy Anniversay Babe!! Forever and Ever Babe!

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Saturday, August 11, Russell, Bentley, Brody, Jr., Karen, and I made a trip to Chattanooga, TN for a last minute trip before school starts back. Once we got to Tennessee, we checked into the Marriott and then headed to the Tennessee Aquarium. The boys loved it! Bentley got to touch a sturgeon and some other creatures. Brody ran around and loved everything he saw. After the aquarium, we went to eat at Mellow Mushroom, then played putt-putt golf. After we got back to the hotel, Bentley was begging to go swimming so we went to the pool. The boys had a blast!!!! My boys are like little fish in the water!!!

Sunday morning we got up and headed to Ruby Falls. It was great! The waterfall was my absolute favorite part!! Just beautiful!!! Magical! The story was that Leo Lambert discovered this cave and waterfall after 17 hours of crawling through this little tunnel! Scary!! Once he found this he took his wife, Ruby, back through to show her, hence the name 'Ruby Falls'. AWWW!!! It was a short trip packed with lots of fun!!!
