Zoo Fun

On August 1, the Mingles and the boys and I took a field trip to the Birmingham Zoo. It was very hot so we started out pretty early. Once we got there, the kids just started running trying to see the animals they wanted to see. This was Brody's first real trip to the zoo. The first time was at Halloween but there were no animals. He absolutely LOVED it and was so well behaved!! Bentley, Amber, and Andrew stuck together and played great together. Bentley's favorite animal was the snake, which I say GROSS to. He loves them though!!! I love the monkeys and the giraffes. Brody enjoyed everything so not sure what his favorite would be. He did enjoy the sea lion show though! We rode the train and then let them play in the splash area to cool off. After lunch we loaded up and headed home. Everyone was so tired and hot so it wasn't the happiest trip back ;) I am so glad I have made such a wonderful Christian friend since moving to CCoC. And so glad my boys are making precious Christian friends as well.
